Coaching Staff
Head Coach Durward Marks
Coach D is married to his beautiful wife Patria, and is the father of nine children (seven girls and two boys). He is a graduate of Marietta High School, where he played basketball for four years. He has coached youth league basketball for over 13 years. His daughter, that recently graduated from Sprayberry High School, is attending Young Harris College on a full athletic scholarship to play basketball for the Lady Mountain Lions. In his spare time, Coach D loves to study the game of basketball.
Assistant Coach West Brothers
Coach West is the father of four daughters, three of which are 9th grade triplets playing varsity girls basketball at Mt Paran Christian School, and a 5th grader that goes to Mt Paran as well. West has coached girls basketball in the CCJBC for five years. Four years at Sprayberry and one year at Kell. West has also coached 7th and 8th grade girls AAU basketball with the GA Pistols Basketball program. In addition, Coach West was involved with the development of a girls training program along with a colleague that has been involved in girls basketball for over twenty years.
